Join The Goliard and South Asian Committee on April 20th in Luce formal lounge for a night of cultural and artistic expression!

Mehfil is an Urdu word which translates to an evening of poetry and soft music which is performed for a small audience in an intimate setting.

The South Asian Committee has invited Anju Madhok from Boston, who will performing a set on acoustic guitar followed by a brief discussion of how she utilizes her South Asian background to inform her work. They have also invited Haseeb, who is a musician based in LA, who will perform a few of his songs and also provide an explanation of the South Asian instruments that he uses in his art.

In addition to having the artists share and discuss their work, The Goliard and SAC plan on giving students a chance to explore their own identities in relation to art.
